Audi and Mazda HPDE
events. The best video is from the National Runoff races in Kansas, 2006,
and it is a clip I made with MuVee Software. The two top dogs are fast as
lightening and I would be lucky to just keep their exhaust in view! Mike
Miserendino won the SFR Nationals buy fractions of a second and was only a few
seconds off the pace against the T-1 Corvettes!
My home track is a world class facility at Virginia International Raceway and they have 4 track configurations, all of which I have run. We also have a 12 hour enduro race there in the fall.
The SRF is only 105 Hp but it does pretty good considering it is rather heavy
at 1670 Lb. and can outrun allot of the 500-Hp Dodge Vipers I travel with!
The short videos are better quality than the longer ones because of the amount of compression required for the Internet server.

Thanks for stopping in and looking over the Picaxe Tachometer project. In the near future I hope to have a few other goodies to add to this great project. A big thank you to Jeremy Leach for his help and encouragement. I am in the learning phase and this is my first step, hopefully not the last.
